After many successful years in custom home audio and AV retail, we shifted our focus solely from distributed audio and home cinema systems to a more inclusive portfolio with home automation at its core. And so Smart Spaces was born in 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Our dedication to delivering outstanding systems has seen us rise to Platinum Control4 dealer in 2013 and in 2015 we became the number one Control4 dealer in South Africa.

We are very proud to have the magnificent showroom at the World of Yamaha, which is comprised of a total area of 6650m², including a 200 seat theatre equipped with state of the art sound and lighting, which is frequently used for product launches and promotional events. The World of Yamaha, located in Sandton, is the first building of its kind in the world to house all the divisions of Yamaha under one roof.
