AMS started trading late in 1994 with Duncan Burl at its helm, funding from the UK based Elta Group and the personal involvement of Ray Ball, chairman of the group.

Since then AMS has established itself as a major role player and trendsetter in the air movement industry. By remaining focused on its core business of supplying fans for the domestic market and air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
